Description
Ballet for beginners or those with some experience. Classes are taught in an inclusive, caring environment with an increased emphasis on technique and longer combinations. Students practice positions of feet and arms, turns, travelling steps, and leaps. Dancers are also given opportunities for creative dance and independent choreography. There is an $18.00 annual registration fee applied for each student once a year. Fee not included below. Attire – Girls: A black leotard, pink tights, and pink ballet shoes. Boys: A white shirt and black bottoms. Leotards and more available at Kinetics dancewear store. Kinetics Academy of Dance, 627 Broadway St. Suite 100, Downtown Chico. Closed 1/1-1/5, 3/16-3/22, 5/27. No classes at the studio due to performance 6/10-6/16. Performers will have rehearsals and shows at the theatre 6/10-6/16.
