Description
A credentialed teacher will lead this common core-based course in introduction to high school Geometry for students wishing to prepare for, or those needing review in, Geometry. Topics will include geometric definitions and constructions, an introduction to theorems, inductive and deductive reasoning, triangle theorems and postulates, how to set up a proof, and how to solve multi-step proofs using triangular congruence and similarity. Depending upon the needs and skill level of each particular group of students, not all topics may be covered within the class, or additional topics may be added. Instructor: Scholastic Development. *$10 material fee payable to instructor at first meeting.
