A Great Migration

Description

This program is for homeschooling groups and families only.This program will discuss why many birds migrate and how they can accomplish such a long journey. Also join us in birdwatching to see what birds we can find returning from their winter homes. Children will hear amazing stories about bird “superpowers” that help them fly across huge distances, then head outside to see what feathered friends are back in the park. Expect lots of looking, listening, and discovering!This program is for 1st through 6th grade.This program will start at 10 am and last approximately 2-3 hours depending on the group size. Be sure to bring a lunch or a snack!Meet your instructor at the Stone Shelter, located at 4490 Northwest Dr.Registration is required only for youth participants, chaperones and adult supervisors do not need to register.
