Description
Corvallis Adult Softball League (CASL) is an adult, coed recreational modified rules slo-pitch softball league that plays on Wednesday nights at 6:30, 7:50 and 9:10 from May to September. We welcome players of all skill levels and experience to come out and have fun. Our league builds teams through a draft system with the intent to make the teams as balanced and competitive as possible. We do not register teams or large groups of players to play together. Registrants are permitted to choose one other player to be teamed with if they desire, or join alone. Sponsors are also allowed to have a core group of five players on their team. Pitching is underhand, balls and strikes are called by the umpires. Base stealing is allowed with no leadoffs. Home plate is not live, a safety line is used. Batting helmets are required for batters. Metal cleats are not permitted. Complete rules are available online.
