Face to face tabletop role-playing games like Dungeons & Dragons are more popular now than ever! They are a blast to play and have been shown to strengthen critical thinking, promote social/emotional learning, build confidence, and help kids express themselves. Still, it can be a challenge to assemble a group and learn how to play. Let Gamemaster Charles Picard be your guide! In this class your kids will participate in weekly improvisations and play an ongoing campaign of the Dungeon World roleplaying game. (A digital copy of the rules will be provided after sign-up.) Whether your kid is a beginner, or they’ve already played RPGs with their buddies, they’ll pick up new tips and tricks while forging friendships in a welcoming environment far from phones and screens. Start their quest today! (Course can be taken multiple times for continued enrichment. Returning kids can watch their characters become more and more powerful as their adventures continue!)
