Advocacy Group

Description

This group will meet once a month and will be facilitated by our Supervisor I, Alyssa Elsner, who has devoted years of her life to being an advocate for individuals with special needs both personally and professionally. This group is open to anyone who is an advocate for someone with special needs. Each month the Advocacy group will meet with different themes of support such as education, medical, and community resources by partnering with a specialist in each of the desired fields. Don't worry, while the Advocacy group is taking place, the Therapeutic Recreation Staff will provide a fun night of child care with the Friday Night Fun program, be sure to call to RSVP your spot. This Advocacy Support Group theme is all about Education Programs and Schools, "No Summer Slide Here!"
