Description
Upon successful completion you will be certified in Lifeguarding, CPR/AED, First Aid. Anyone over 15 years old is eligible to take this class upon completion of the skill prerequisites listed below. Swim 300 yards consistently, demonstrating breath control and rhythmic breathing. Candidates may swim using front crawl, breaststroke or combination of both. Swim goggles may be used. Tread water for 2 minutes using only the legs.Complete a timed event within 1 min, 40 sec: starting in the water, swim 20 yards, submerge to a depth of 8-10 ft to retrieve brick, return to surface, swim 20 yards, exit the water without using a ladder or steps.There is a 7-hour online course to complete prior to the first day of class. Instructor will email a direct link to course material upon your registration.
