Description
The beginning drawing class is structured around observational drawing through which the student will learn about the necessary tools with an emphasis on developing skills required to create a successful drawing. Students will therefore learn about the many different pencil values and how and when to use them. Students will also learn to use other tools such as varying erasers and blending stubs as creative tools. Through observational drawing and exercises, students will learn techniques such as value scales, blending techniques, light source, reflection, and correction.
