Babysitting Clinic

Description

Do YOU have what it takes to be a first class babysitter? In this class presented by Iowa State University Extension and Outreach you will learn your responsibilities as a babysitter, what parents expect of you, how to care for infants and young children, age-appropriate activities, safety, and how to handle emergencies. Open to boys and girls in 5th grade and above. The registration fee includes a workbook, childcare resources, and a snack. Participants who attend all three sessions will receive a certificate of participation. Each participant needs to bring a baby doll and a children's toy for use in class.This is a 2-day clinic from 4:00-7:00pm each day. Supper will be provided for participants.
