Description
In Ballet I, dancers will begin class with floor stretches specific to developing strength in their feet. Dancers use the barre, as well as learn basic steps and positions. Dancers will learn to maintain correct posture, which in ballet, involves everything from the feet up through the top of the head. Dancers will learn the names of the steps and attempt jumps and turns. Dancers will need a pair of ballet slippers, tights, and leotard. Dancers will need to wear their hair back while dancing. Children under the age of thirteen (13) must have an adult guardian on site (in the parking lot) at all times.
