Description
The basketball skills camp at Mountain View Community Center will provide skillful aspects of the game of basketball. The camps is 6 weeks long and the goal of the camp is to incorporate fun while learning the sport. Children do not need to have prior experience this is a beginner level camp. Every week the children will be introduce to a few drills that can improve their basketball skills. The skills that will be practiced are shooting, dribbling, defense, and most importantly sportsmanship. This camp will be offered outdoors at Mountain View Park on the basketball court. This camp may also utilize the indoor racquetball courts. Please ensure that your child brings plenty of water, wears closed-toed running shoes, and comfortable clothing. Seating is stadium style. Please bring your own seating if desired. The camp will be facilitated by Recreation Leader Davis Nguyen.
