Request Access to use the Yukon City Park Batting Cages! Signing up for access is free and you will be given a code to the combination lock of the gate on your receipt. Access is given for each month of the year, a new code/registration is required each month. This does not guarantee you will have the batting cages to yourself or entitle you to have both side of the batting cages at the same time. There are no lights for evening use so do not access the batting cages after dark. Access during game times is restricted to only game participants. If you would like to use the batting cages at this time, you will need to pay the gate fee. To access the batting cages, park on Jim Watson Drive and walk up the hill to the gate and enter the combination on the lock. Batting Cage Rules: -Only one batter allowed in batting cage at a time.-Pitchers must stand behind the pitching screen atall times.-It is strongly encouraged that batters wear helmetswith face mask protection.-Individuals under age 14 must be accompanied byan adult.-Do not enter batting cage that is actively beingused by another person.-Close-toed shoes must always be worn.-No food or drinks (except water) are allowed on theturf or in the cages.-Do not lean, hang or climb on nets.- Be aware of your surroundings.- No alcohol allowed.-No animals allowed inside batting cages.-Profanity and abusive language or behavioris prohibited. Patrons assume the risk of any injury resulting fromuse of the batting cage.The batting cages are to be used in amanner providing for the safety andenjoyment of all. Failure to abide bythese rules may result in violatorsbeing ejected from the park.
