Birdability Birding at the ATT
American Tobacco Trail, North Carolina, USA
Description
Join park staff on a bird outing to look for our year-round species along the American Tobacco Trail. Birders of all experience levels are welcome! This outing will be 1.5 miles round trip on a flat, wide, well-packed, crushed stone trail (with a short distance of incline >5%). Our route will be fully accessible for wheelchairs and others with mobility concerns. We will spend some time scanning the Beaver Creek wetland for winter waterfowl, so if you have a spotting scope, please bring it! Binoculars will be available to borrow for anyone who needs them. For all ages. Meet at the New Hill parking area (1309 New Hill-Olive Chapel Rd.) at the upper picnic table.
