Join us for BSA Merit Badge Days at Retzer Nature Center, June 10 - 14. Come to one or all!Merit Badge workshops are for children in grades 5 and up that are enrolled in the Boy Scouts of America program. Fee: $60 for the Space Exploration merit badge workshop.Registration is limited to 20 participants. Register online FEB. 1 - JUNE 6. Minimum five participants required for program to run. PLEASE BE ON TIME: Check-in begins at 8:15 a.m. Workshop starts at 8:30 a.m. Pick up time is between 2 p.m. and 2:30 p.m.Snacks are provided, but participants must provide their own lunch.SPACE EXPLORATION MERIT BADGE(*NOTE- The ad in the Public Activity Guide did not include the $10 rocket fee for this badge. The total cost is $60.)Class will cover: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 a, 6, 8Prerequisites: 2, 5 b or c, 7, 8Prerequisites and requirements covered during the workshop must be complete prior to final merit badge blue card signing at the end of the workshop. If requirements are not complete at the end of the workshop, Scouts will need to finish the requirements on their own time and make an appointment with a Horwitz-DeRemer Planetarium Merit Badge Counselor before August 31. Horwitz-DeRemer Planetarium will not provide merit badge counselors after August 31 to sign merit badge blue cards.
