Description
Grades: 1st-5th. From script to stage, students use folklore and literature combined with their own imaginations to build a performance. Throughout the process, valuable skills are developed such as listening, articulation, physical awareness and teamwork, as well as basic stagecraft. The program culminates with a videotaped performance of their short scenes. Taught by teaching artists Carla Milarch, Anne Rhoades, and Meghan VanArsdalen from Theatre NOVA. 5 classes.
