Description
Grades: 1st-5th. From script to stage, students build a performance from scratch - writing, designing, and acting in their own original script. Throughout the process, valuable skills are developed such as writing, reading, listening, articulation, physical awareness, teamwork, and basic stagecraft. The program culminates with a performance of their original play (live or filmed TBA, depending on Covid mitigation in AAPS). Taught by teaching artists Carla Milarch and Meghan VanArsdalen from Theatre NOVA. 8 classes. No class 10/31.
