Try this intense color course where you are challenged with color palette limitations in each class to gauge the emotional and atmospheric impact of color. Imagine a pet painting using nothing but primaries. Paint the same image with related colors on the color wheel and see how the mood and atmosphere changes. The next 2 weeks try a still life (or stick to pets) using secondary and then complementary colors. Choose intermediate colors for the fifth weeks’ painting of a landscape or interior. Watch demos each week and see images of appropriate watercolor paintings that use the color palette for the lesson. Experienced Painters. Materials list provided via email.
