Couples Golf Ladder League – Weekly Match Play Fun! Grab your partner and hit the fairways for a fun and competitive season in our Couples Golf Ladder League on Tuesday evenings! This unique 2v2 format is designed to bring couples together for some friendly weekly competition in a relaxed yet spirited environment. Price is per team of (2). Specific tee times will vary depending on each teams place on the ladder. The first two weeks of tee times will be sent out via email once the registration closes (1-week prior to the first night). After the second week, each pairs tee time will be sent out via email Wednesday mornings following Tuesday evening matches. Tee times will differ based upon each pairs position on the ladder. All tee times will take place between 4:30-5:00pm. League Format: Meets once a week on Tuesday's 2-player teams (couples) compete in a ladder-style match play league The first two weeks are used to establish the ladder rankings Starting Week 3, teams are ranked and matched accordingly: 1st vs 2nd, 3rd vs 4th, and so on Winners move up the ladder, losers move down challenging different opponents the next week and everyone has a shot at climbing to the top! Match Play Scoring (2 Points Per Hole): 1 point awarded to the team with the lowest individual score on the hole 1 point awarded to the team with the lowest combined team score Ties cancel points: If both teams tie for low individual or low combined score, no point is awarded for that category Example: Team 1: Player A scores a 2, Player B a 5 Team 2: Player C scores a 3, Player D a 3 Team 1 gets 1 point for Player A's low score (2) Team 2 gets 1 point for the lower combined score (6 vs. 7) Why a Ladder League?
