(Instructor: Mary Kos)This arts and crafts workshop gives seniors an opportunity to create and give back. The group completes projects such as lap robes and crocheted caps to donate to local organizations including cancer treatment centers, hospitals and medical centers. FAQ - Do I have to be talented to join? Not at all. Depending on your comfort level, the group will make simple to more complex crafts.Will I have fun at the workshop? This workshop is an excellent opportunity to meet other people, socialize and be create. A $2 donation to purchase supplies is suggested for each class. The group is seeking a business sponsor to support the group. Wish list items include: a box of non-toxic crayons, coloring books, crochet hooks, fabric, and yarn. Items must be newly purchased.
