Creative Writing

About This Event

From telling to compelling! Whether you are new to writing or midway through a story, Cate Perry--author of Before the Next Mistake and developmental editor with 20 years' experience--will take you through the fundamentals of fiction writing to teach you how to build a gripping story that keeps readers turning pages! We will start by crafting characters who come alive on the page, learn plotting basics and how to add the emotional arc, build compelling scenes that set readers in the middle of the action, and discuss the ins and outs of publication!
