Dia De Los Perros (Y Gatos) Pet Festival: Rescue Groups
4110 Sabana Grande Ave SE, Rio Rancho, NM 87124, USA
Description
In honor of all the pets who have touched our lives and held a special place in our hearts, we invite our community to join us for this special annual event. Cabezon Park will be transformed into a beautiful ofrenda space filled with traditional Dia de Los Muertos symbols and decor. Community members and the shelter staff can adorn the ofrenda with photos of departed pets, mementos, toys, and treats as the alter grows throughout the day. It's a great opportunity to bring your rescue group out and participate in the adopt-a-thon.Please contact the Cabezon Community Center at 505-892-4499 or email cabezon@rrnm.gov for more information.
