Calling all introverts, extroverts, bookworms, and nature lovers! BCLS and Parks invite you to move your body and enjoy an audiobook while exploring in a “winter wonderland”. Be sure to charge up your smartphone and bring your headphones! Listen to a book that interests you most or choose from our curated list of handpicked audiobooks (via the Libby app) that celebrate the natural world. Our focus is to create a safe and welcoming atmosphere for all to build community and connection in the outdoors this winter - one story at a time. Check out these featured audiobook nature titles via the Libby app as part of your library membership: Wilding by Isabella Tree The River Has Roots by Amal El-Mohtar The Light Eaters by Zoe Schlanger Any other nature-themed or general audiobook title of interest! Audience: adults only 18+Distance: approx. 2-3 milesDifficulty: easy - flat paved paths and wooden boardwalks, ADA-accessible route.  HOW TO ACCESS AUDIOBOOKS:  A Burlington County Library System (BCLS) membership is required to access the audiobooks via the Libby smartphone app. To access audiobooks included with your BCLS membership, download the free Libby app on your smartphone To set up your account, select "Burlington County Library System", and enter your unique library membership number (printed on the back of your library card) and your 4-digit account pin. Need Help? If you need any help with accessing audiobooks, or would like more information about signing up for a library membership, simply call or visit any of the BCLS locations prior to the event. BCLS staff will also be available at the beginning of the program to assist with audiobook set-up.   IMPORTANT: You will receive a receipt upon registration. If you do not receive a receipt, the registration was not successful. Registrants will receive a reminder e-mail from the instructor with the exact meeting location and other important details 24-48 hours before the program. For registration assistance send an email to parks@co.burlington.nj.us or call (609) 265-5858.
