Description
Professional surfers and owners Tim & Amy Reda have over 20 years of experience directing surf and beach camps. This camp is perfect for kids of all ages who want to hone in on their surfing skills and ocean awareness. Students will surf, boogieboard, bodysurf, participate in yoga for surfers, ecology walks, ocean safety lessons, beach clean-ups, and junior lifeguard inspired activities throughout the week. Daily surfing at this later time is possible, but not always guaranteed due to Blackball Flag. Fun and safety ARE guaranteed. Additional fees: $20 (materials - due on first day).Notice: Class meets under Newport Pier, below Lifeguard Headquarters. 4:1 Students to Teacher ratio or better. CPR & First Aid certified instructors.Provided: Surfboards, wetsuits, sunscreen and tents. Participants receive goodie bags, camp t-shirts, photos and a chance to meet pro surfers!Please bring: lunch, snack, hat, sunglasses, towel, sandals/shoes and bottle of water.
