Footliters First Act — Pumpkin Patch & Home for the Harvest

Take center stage in First Act in two charming productions: The Pumpkin Patch Predicament and Home for the Harvest! Capped at just 20 students, every actor has an opportunity to bring a role to life! Each actor will play a role in two different one-act stories: the first focuses on using spoken word to tell the story and the second focuses on telling a story through movement… both skills needed in acting! Appropriate for young performers who want to perform in a production experience.Rehearsals take place over three weeks on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays, and the experience culminates in two performances. Rehearsal dates are October 13, 14, 16, 20, 22, 23, 27, and 28. Performances are on Wednesday, October 29 and Thursday, October 30 at 7:00 pm. All actors must be present at each rehearsal so they and their teammates can be successful with a short rehearsal period. Actors who miss more than two rehearsals may be asked to leave the program. Attendance is mandatory for dress rehearsals on Monday, October 27 and Tuesday, October 28, and at both performances.Scholarships are available for every student in need through the Charlie Bates Memorial Scholarship.
