Description
Guided Nature Hikes are opportunities for families, groups or individuals to experience a hike through our Natural Areas parks with a trained Naturalist. Guided hike themes include: Family Nature Hikes, Blooms of the Season and Bird Walks. Program themes and experiences will vary based on Nature Centers. Hikes promote positive connections with nature and the world around us, conservation and climate education, physical and mental well-being, and socialization.Hikes guides are trained naturalist staff and participants are kept in groups while practicing physical distancing and other COVID-19 safety guidelines.These programs operate on Saturday between 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Maximum group size is 12 participants and a minimum enrollment of 10 participants are required for each group.
