Intro to Masters Swim Class

About This Event

Intro to Masters is for anyone that can swim 25 yards of freestyle. Each session will focus on improving freestyle with a short venture into development of other strokes. You’ll learn how to use the pace clock and how to maximize your pool time efficiently. A masters program can help you become a better swimmer while enjoying the camaraderie of other adult learners. If you have fins and/or paddles, bring them but they are not a requirement. A perfect class to get you ready for a next season!Instructor: Suzie is a former swim team participant and spend many years coaching swim teams, including Claremont in Berkeley. Suzie swam with TAM masters and is a current member of the Dolphin Club in SF. She’s completed the ‘Triple Crown’ of Open Water Swimming, having swum the English Channel, Catalina Channel and around Manhattan. She loves helping people become more confident and competent in the water. She teaches all ages from 4-84 with a focus on technique and using your pool time efficiently. Her motto is ‘if you’re not fast, you at least want to look good while you’re swimming!’Drop in: $15
