Layers of Me: A Mixed Media Adventure
Gaithersburg Arts Barn, 311 Kent Square Road, Gaithersburg, MD, 20878, United States
Description
This 8 week course will help students discover their artistic self through the technique of layering. For the first 3 weeks you will create your own collage paper, do basic jelly printing, work with texture on canvas using modeling paste, gel medium and other found objects. Students will learn about colors and compositions through intuitive play during the entirety of the course, culminating in a personal masterpiece. This course is messy, soulful, and easy to follow - there is no such thing as "wrong" art.
