Literary Hors-d’Oeuvres...

Description

Literary Hors-d’Oeuvres: A Bi-Monthly Reading Club for Story LoversLike tasting fine appetizers at a dinner party, each month’s session offers a sampling of short, powerful passages from master storytellers – from both their fiction and non-fiction writing. Participants savor selections from modern writers, exploring how small bites of great writing can nourish big ideas.Through guided discussion and optional reflection, we’ll explore one theme per month - memory, identity, love, travel, or transformation – with different authors for each class, discovering how each story’s flavor lingers long after the last line. Perfect for readers who love conversation, curiosity, and the pleasure of shared discovery.
