Little Lions Baseball Skills Camp

The Camp Hill High School baseball team has partnered with Camp Hill Recreation and Camp Hill Little League to offer the first annual Little Lions Baseball Skills Camp.The goal of this camp is to help kids (ages 6-12) to improve their baseball skills in the week leading up to the Little League Skills Challenge. The Camp Hill High School players and coaches will provide instruction over four 90-minute sessions on the following dates:Saturday, May 4th 1:30-3:00 pmSunday, May 5th, 5:30-7 pmMonday, May 6th 5:30-7pmWednesday, May 8th, 5:30-7pmLocation: Camp Hill High School Baseball Field and rain location is Hoover Gym.(The Camp Hill Little League Skills Challenge will be held on Friday, May 10th)The camp will offer hands on instruction focused specifically on the baseball skills necessary to succeed at the Little League Skills Challenge. Campers will have the opportunity to:*Improve their power at the plate and fine tune their swing mechanics*Increase their arm strength and accuracy*Work on defensive fundamentals*Boost their baserunning speedCampers will also have the opportunity to interact with their favorite high school ball players during each of the four sessions and during the Little League Skills Challenge.All participants will need to bring a glove, a bat, a water bottle and prefer the kids wear cleats although not mandatory - especially for the younger kids.
