Medical Detective: Grades 6-8

Description

This course lets students play the role of real-life medical detectives as they collect and analyze medical data to diagnose a disease. They solve medical mysteries through hands-on projects and labs, measure and interpret vital signs, examine nervous system structure and function, investigate disease outbreaks, and explore how a breakdown within the human body can lead to dysfunction. In this course, students will be investigating biomedical science and careers, learning about human body systems, and even diving into genetics and forensics. At the end of the course, students use what they have learned to solve a medical mystery!
