Multicultural Older Adult Program

Description

Older adults of all ethnicities in Marin are welcome to come to the Albert J. Boro Community Center/Pickleweed Park where we provide opportunities for socialization and integration. The group meets every Wednesday from 10 am to 1 pm. Hot, nutritional lunches are served at 11 am for a donation of $3 for those who are 60 years of age and older and a $6 fee for those under 60 years of age. To make reservations for lunch, call (415) 473-INFO (4636) by the prior Thursday. This program is made possible through funds from the Federal Older American Act and administered locally by the Marin County Health & Human Services, Division of Aging and Adult Services. Programs are organized by the City of San Rafael Library and Recreation Department.Join in on the activities and meet new friends. Bring your ideas of what type of programs and activities you would like to start at the Center. Our largest populations Latinx and Vietnamese, however, all older adults are welcome.
