Sideline Cheerleading (Grades K–8)Season: August–OctoberTuition: $300 (does not include uniform or gear)Newberg Youth Cheer’s Sideline Season offers a traditional cheerleading experience with a hometown twist! Open to athletes in grades K–8, this program includes twice-weekly practices and Saturday game-day performances at local youth football games.New This Season:Tumbling instruction will now be included as part of regular Sideline practices. This gives all athletes the opportunity to build strength, coordination, and basic tumbling skills—without needing to register for a separate class.This adjustment makes Sideline a great entry point for new families who are curious about cheer but not ready to commit to a full uniform purchase. Tumbling provides a chance to "dip a toe in" and get a feel for cheer fundamentals.Sideline athletes who want even more time in the gym are welcome to register for additional Tumbling classes if desired.Practice Schedule:Tuesdays and Thursdays between 4:00 PM and 8:00 PM(Final times and team assignments will be based on registration numbers.)Program Fee: $300 (Tuition only)Additional Required Costs:Practice T-Shirts – $15 each (2 required)Uniform Package – Estimated at $275(Final price may vary based on vendor pricing and supply conditions.)Uniforms are designed for a 2-year cycle and will be used for both the 2025–2026 and 2026–2027 seasons.Optional gear add-ons available (prices vary)Families can also expect:A Parent Information Night with the coaching teamA Uniform Fitting Day for all athletes(Dates and times for these events will be announced closer to the season.)Please Note:Some details (including exact practice times and event dates) are still being finalized.
