Openings - Students begin formal classical ballet training. Students learn French terms and basic ballet technique that all subsequent classes will build on. Class instruction occurs at the barre, center and diagonal. This class is a pre-requisite for all upper ballet levels. Minimum age 7 yrs old. Tuition includes one 60-minute class each week. Students perform in a Spring Recital and are eligible to audition for Nutcracker in the Fall.

Openings - Solo Star Competitive Class is a mini group class for dancers ages 6 and up who want to dance at the competitive level but don’t have a partner. (Dancers still need to be enrolled in their regular classes 2x a week). Dancers will be preparing to compete in the Solo Star category.

Openings - This class will encourage students to step outside of the box by bringing their own individual style and personality to the movements. Hip hop dance requires students to have the strength and stamina to successfully perform moves. Therefore class includes upper and lower body conditioning as well as a rigorous warm-up to help prepare students for more intense movements.

Openings - This is a beginner’s class which serves as an introduction to hip hop dance for the younger student. Using games and music, the class focuses on rhythm, musicality and basic footwork. It is a great way to get kids moving!

This program teaches rhythm and timing with dance and creative movement. Students will be learning basic dance skills through dance movement, music and games.

Students have to have at least one year of latin dance experience and have a teacher recommendation in order to register.They will learn Latin dances such as cha cha, samba, rumba and jive. During the class they will be prepared for 2 dance first dance shows!
