Pottery: The Art of ThrowingYou can throw taller and wider and I can help. This 4-week class will stretch your throwing comfort zone. Since we will be concentrating on the throwing and not the finishing of pots, expect a lot of wheel time to reclaim (gather and reuse) your clay. Of course you can finish any pieces you want as ample additional studio access is included with the class.Duration: 4 Weeks.Dates/Time: Friday July 3 and Saturdays July 11-25 from 9:30a - 12:00pSkill Level: Some throwing experience helpful, but not required.Fee: $110Includes: Glazes, firings, open studio time, 25# bag of clay, and use of community tools.Note: Students are welcome to bring their own favorite tools and a towel.Instructor: Andrew Morse, a ceramic artist of more than 40 years with a background in production pottery and drum making.
