250 Norton Dr, Black Hawk, CO 80422, USA
Description
Starting Where You AreAlways begin right where you are And work out from here: If adrift, feel the feel of the oar in the oarlock first, If saddling a horse let your right knee slug The belly of the horse like an uppercut, Then cinch his suck, Then mount and ride away To any dream deserving the sensible world-Thomas Hornsby FerrilCome to the first meeting of Saturday Morning Clay, June 14, with ideas for following the suggestions of the poem. We can talk about what these suggestions are, but they have something to do with starting out on a new course. So, does your new direction focus on form? On surface decoration? Maybe materials? Something else? Do some thinking about your current ceramic skills, and how you can build on them. Some ceramic experience will be helpful. Fees: $150/six week session - Includes 25# clay, instruction, glazes, firings, and open studio time. Extra clay: New $15–25/25# bag / Recycled $10/25# bag.Instructor: Steve Briggs
