Power Kids Yoga offers interactive yoga classes that combine creative movement, storytelling, music, and breathing techniques. Through playful themes and engaging stories, children learn yoga poses in a fun, supportive environment that promotes kindness and relaxation. Each class encourages children to build strength, balance, flexibility, coordination, and body awareness while developing confidence, focus and self-regulation skills.Ms. McKenzie, owner and instructor, is a 200-hour Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) and has been teaching yoga since 2021. She is also trained in children's yoga through Cosmic Kids Yoga, a popular children's yoga program and YouTube channel that many families know and enjoy. In addition to teaching yoga, Ms. McKenzie has been an instructor at Ms. Lisa's Dance for the past six years, where she has enjoyed working with children of all ages.This program is open to all children in Kindergarten through 5th grade and is on-going for the remainder of the school year. Withdrawals must be made in writing to the Club J Administrator at least 30 days in advance of the effective withdrawal date.
