2023 SHAWNEE PEAK RECREATIONAL SKI PROGRAMGrades 6 – 10 Limited Enrollment 70 Youth / REGISTRATION OPENS WEDNESDAY, OCT 12Cumberland Recreation is offering recreational skiing on Wednesday Early Release Days. This program has two options: Your child may choose either lift ticket and transportation or lift ticket, transportation and rental for skiing OR boarding. Early Release Dates: Wednesdays - Jan.11, 25, Feb. 1, 8, 15, (Make up March 1)Buses depart from the Greely Middle School parking side lot Adjacent the MS Cafeteria at 1:45pm and return at 7:30pm. (Parents please check with neighbors and friends to drop off skiers, car – pooling during drop-off greatly reduces traffic congestion). Coach buses will provide transportation. Skiing Fees: Lifts Only $325 / Lifts & Ski Rentals $415Snowboarding: Lifts Only $325.00 / Lifts & Board rentals (cannot rent Boots only) $415.00 Contact us if your child already has a Seasons Pass about Pricing for Transportation Only.Helmets: Youth 12 & under - Mandatory helmet rule - Shawnee Peak Policy Rental Skiers: Parents are you thinking of buying equipment, but not sure? Please have your child fitted for boots and skis, it is much easier to tear up the form and refund your money than to have him/her fitted at a later date.*Helmets are available for rent at an additional $30.00Skiers with your own equipment: Ski bags are Mandatory, it greatly reduces the time we spend handling your equipment, which will provide you with more ski time.Parents! If you enjoy skiing, we can provide skiing in exchange for some assistance with logistics of this program. Please call the Recreation Office 829-2208 to get your name on the chaperone list.Deadline for Registration is Thursday, December 15th (if space is available, late registrations will be charged a $15.00 late fee.)
