Description
U12 Softball is for players that are 11-12yrs of age. Parent Coaches/Volunteers will be needed for every team!U12 Rec Teams will play in The Southeastern Softball League against surrounding communities. They will have both home (Barstow Little League Field, Armory Field or USD Complex) and away (played in surrounding communities) games on weeknights. They will also have practices during the week. Coaches will be in contact with parents/guardians with a practice and game schedule. Games begin mid-May with an end of the season tournament in June. All players registered before the March 26th deadline are guaranteed a jersey and hat/visor. Age of player is based off their age on May 1, 2024.Scholarships are available by first obtaining a Proof of Financial Assistance Form from the Department of Social Services and then registering in person at the Vermillion Recreation Office.All cancellations will be posted on the Vermillion Parks and Recreation Facebook page, Twitter page and on our website main page https://www.vermillion.us/223/Parks-Recreation
