Softball: Adult–Coed E Social–Spring 22-Mon. Salisbury

About This Event

Parker Recreation Adult Sports Leagues are designed to be safe and fun for the lifelong athlete, while incorporating recreational rules and philosophies. • Adult Coed Softball leagues are played 10 v 10 (10 players on the field) with coed specific rules. • All players must be 18 years of age in all divisions.Adult Social Softball Rules: www.ParkerRec.com/AdultSoftball• The Softball Social Division season focuses on fun over competition! This league is offered to provide a warm-up to the summer season in a less structured, fun and social manner that still allows you to get your bats going.• Points per inning determine the winner, not overall runs. The goal is to score more than your opponent each inning. The team with the most runs each inning earns one (1) point for the inning. The team with the most points, not runs, at the end of the game wins.• Homerun Limit: 1• A foul ball that does not remain within the fencing of the field will be declared an out.• Bats used in the Town of Parker adult leagues must have the current USSSA logo used to identify legal bats.www.usssa.com • City Ordinance #12.03.1 Section 1 prohibits the possession or consumption of any alcohol on city park lands. Co-Ed Social Division: The league is comprised of recreational teams with players of varied experience. Teams participate for fun and competition but understand that winning isn’t the entire purpose of the game. Teams participate because they enjoy the game and are looking to stay active. This division will not be considered to place teams for summer and fall.• When facing an opponent who is above your team in the standings, you will begin with a 1.5-point handicap.• The Parker Parks and Recreation Department reserves the right to move teams to a more appropriate division, as they see fit.Game schedules will be released online approximately one week prior to the season start date: www.TeamSideline.com/parkerrec • Seven (7) games are guaranteed. The season includes a regular season and ends with playoffs. Playoff formats are determined by the number of teams registered.• In case of inclement weather throughout the season, make up games will be played on Thursdays, likely including double headers. Please contact Alfredo Negrin at anegrin@parkeronline.org with any questions or concerns.
