Spring Lake Outdoor Education Program (SLOEP) - Miller

Description
The City of San Marcos Parks and Recreation and Texas State University's Department of Health and Human Performance present this unique afterschool program for students who attend Miller Middle school. The program meets for 3 weeks on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4:10-5:30 this spring semester beginning Tuesday, October 4th and ending Thursday, October 20th. Miller students will be led by Texas State University's Recreation Administration students in various Outdoor Education activities. Students will be met at the school by Youth Services staff for check in, then will be led by Texas State Students for recreation activities at the school. At the conclusion of SLOEP at 5:30pm students have the option to ride the bus home, or be picked up from Miller. For more information about SLOEP please visit our website www.sanmarcostx.gov/youth
