Description
Ages 8-16. Calling all future urban planners! This hands-on, multidisciplinary course integrates language arts, mathematics, health, art, science, and social studies concepts throughout as students analyze a variety of urban forms around the world. Increase students' of planning issues such as sustainability and urban sprawl, while giving them an opportunity to use the creative design process in each week's design challenge. Students will be able to share their culminating projects with the community at the end of the course.
