Take A Hike At CG Mountain Challenge is back! It is a 30-day opportunity for outdoor enthusiasts of all abilities to hike multile trails throughout the Casa Grande Mountain Park. Participants will track their hikes and can choose when to complete their hikes. We have selected six hiking trails at CG Mountain to introduce you to the variety and beauty of your Casa Grande Mountain Park.Trails List: (To be completed in any order over the 30-day period)North Mountain Park East Loop - EasyRidge Trail - Moderate to DifficultThe Spine Trail Loop - Easy to ModerateCasa Grande Mountain Trail - ModerateCasa Grande Mountain Radio Tower Trail - ModerateValentines Trail - ModerateMake sure you download "AllTrails" App on your mobile device. The app has all necessary details about the trails; from directions and navigation, to pictures and details such as length of the trail, elevation, and even route type. The app offers trail maps as well. Another great feature is that you can download the trail map before going on a hike, so in case you lose signal, the trail is safely located on your mobile device. Email us the picture of you hiking each trail (screenshot of the screen showing completed hike) to communityservices@casagrandeaz.gov. For each trail you complete, you will be entered to win a prize. Those who complete the entire CG Mountain Challenge will be entered into a raffle to win the grand prize - $100 Walmart giftcard.
