Techniques in Biotechnology: Grades 7-8

Description

This course is for students who have heard and wondered about things like genetic engineering, electrophoresis or protein purification, and have wanted to learn where biotech work begins. Techniques in Biotechnology will give students not only the theory behind the practices but also hands-on explorations into the techniques. Students will learn sterile techniques with bacteria, the basics of genetic engineering using bacterial transformation, electrophoresis and more.
