Are you confident in your child's awareness and ability to stay safe? Unfortunately, in the reality of today, there is a good chance that your child, will be put in a threatening situation, at some point. In this 2-hour class, we will help your child/children build confidence and gain awareness, while learning practical, self-protection skills related to adolescents. We cover situational awareness, a brief overview of self-defense covering quick, easy strikes to give you time to escape. We go over the reality and the dangers of cyber bullying/harassment. We then go into ways to survive an active shooter event. And finally, we touch on firearm safety. Help prepare your child/young adult for the realities and threats of everyday life, the internet, middle and high school and beyond. It’s better to be ready and not need it. Taught by Steve Branch who has 40+ years of professional experience and education in this field, including as a School Resource Officer. Parents are not required but are they are welcome to attend.
