It's known for its accuracy and universal applicability, rating players on a scale from 2.0 (beginner) to 8.0 (professional) regardless of age, gender, or location The DUPR system is dynamic, meaning it adjusts a player's rating after each match based on their performance. It considers factors such as match outcomes, points won, and the skill level of opponents to provide an up-to-date reflection of a player's abilities What sets DUPR apart is its inclusivity and the use of a modified Elo algorithm, which evaluates recent matches more heavily to ensure the ratings remain current. It also includes a Reliability Score to prevent manipulation of ratings and ensure fair play.
