Description
Beginner: Calling all pickleball beginners with little to NO exposure to pickleball – are you looking to learn the game from the pros? Then sign up for our novice pickleball lessons today! This class will work with new-to-the-sport players with little to no athletic background and prepare you to work your way to playing on the courts more competitively. Beginners will need a racquet, water, and weather appropriate clothing to attend lessons. All beginner classes (unless noted in the registration process) will take place on at Cherry Lawn - Tennis Court #2 & 3 (farthest from the parking lot) which is lined for pickleball play. This is an 7-week course. There are two weeks built into the end of class to accommodate any rain dates. Please note, the Cherry Lawn Pickleball courts will be moving to a reservation based system in the spring which will be posted online at darienct.gov/parkrec and at the pickleball court kiosk once information is available. No Class 7/1-7/6, Rain Date is 8/19.
