Join us for BSA Merit Badge Days at Retzer Nature Center, June 10 - 14. Come to one or all!Merit Badge workshops are for children in grades 5 and up that are enrolled in the Boy Scouts of America program.Fee: $50 per merit badge workshop.Registration is limited to 20 participants. Register online FEB. 1 - JUNE 6. Minimum five participants required for program to run.PLEASE BE ON TIME: Check-in begins at 8:15 a.m. Workshop starts at 8:30 a.m. Pick up time is between 3:15 and 4 p.m., depending on when the Scout completes the requirements.Snacks are provided, but participants must provide their own lunch.ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENCE MERIT BADGEClass will cover: 3 a 3, 3 b 3, 3 c 1, 3 d 1, 3 f 3, 3 h 1, 4 a, 6Prerequisites MUST be completed prior to merit badge blue card signing: 1, 2, 3 e, 5Prerequisites and requirements covered during the workshop must be complete prior to final merit badge blue card signing at the end of the workshop. If requirements are not complete at the end of the workshop, Scouts will need to finish the requirements on their own time and make an appointment with a Retzer Nature Center Merit Badge Counselor before August 31. Retzer Nature Center will not provide merit badge counselors after August 31 to sign merit badge blue cards. After August 31, Scouts are responsible for finding a merit badge counselor to sign merit badge blue cards.
