Thank you for your interest in Coaching 2026 Fall Youth NFL Flag Football!Location: Copper Sky Regional Park – 44345 W. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. Maricopa, AZ 85138Game Rules: Please go to www.maricopateamsports.com, click the "Our Sports" tab at the top, and then select "Youth Flag Football."Practice Days and Times: Practices are held on Wednesday or Thursday evenings at 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm or 7:30 pm - 9:00 pm. All age divisions practice once a week. Practices begin the week of September 9th, 2026.Game Days & Times: The season will consist of seven games, played on Fridays. Game start times generally fall between 6:30 PM and 8:40 PM. A detailed schedule will be shared using Team Sideline.First/Last Game Day: September 25th, 2026 - November 13th, 2026No games will be held on October 2nd.Team Rosters: Distributed to Head / Assistant Coaches through the Team Sideline App.Coach Requests: The Head Coach can request an Assistant Coach. Each Coach will be able to request their child/player. Assistant Coaches must also register, and there can only be one Assistant Coach per team.Player Refund: Head Coaches and Assistant Coaches receive a refund for one player registration for this season if they have a player in the league. If you are coaching and do not have a player in the league, you will receive a $75 credit on your account. Please register your child using the player registration - not this one - to ensure a spot on the roster.Coach’s Shirts: One Coach’s Shirt will be provided to each Head Coach and Assistant Coach.Equipment: footballs, cones, and a ball bagCoach Onboard Meeting: TBDRequirements for Volunteer Coaching:Meeting: All coaches must attend a mandatory meeting.City Volunteer Disclosures: All coaches must complete the City's Volunteer Disclosures forms.Drug Testing: All coaches must pass an on-site drug test.Background Check: All coaches must successfully pass a background check.These requirements comply with the City of Maricopa's Volunteer Program policies.
