Inspired by The Moth and NPR’s storytelling format, this workshop guides participants in crafting and performing true stories from their lives. Each week explores a key storytelling element - theme, structure, voice, pacing, and delivery—through writing, discussion, and practice. The class will culminate in a celebratory live group performance, where students share their stories before an audience of friends, family, and the Avenidas community, celebrating connection, courage, and creativity through story. Date for the group performance is to be decided on with the students.
