From Memory to Microphone: The Art of Live Storytelling

Inspired by The Moth and NPR’s storytelling format, this workshop guides participants in crafting and performing true stories from their lives. Each week explores a key storytelling element - theme, structure, voice, pacing, and delivery—through writing, discussion, and practice. The class will culminate in a celebratory live group performance, where students share their stories before an audience of friends, family, and the Avenidas community, celebrating connection, courage, and creativity through story.
