The grid method is a method of defining proportion as you create your art. By drawing on a grid, the artist maintains correct proportions and detail without becoming overwhelmed with complexity. The goal will be to complete ONE photographic image in three weeks. You will learn to transfer the image of your choice to your paper surface by using a grid method. The course includes technical demos and one on one instruction.SUPPLIES:PHOTOGRAPHS: You can either use your own photograph or download one from a copyright free site on the internet such as Pixabay or Unsplash. Try to use a photograph that is of high resolution. If you are choosing to work from a real photograph rather than a digital one, you will need to scan the picture at a high resolution and print it out at a large enough size to be able to see details and for it to be gridded.
